These Sporting News are the larger size (11 1/2 x 15 1/2) that were the standard back in the early 1970's. As a young kid, I used to take magazines and pictures of players to the ballparks or hotels to get autographed. Autographed TSN covers are in red. The price printed on the cover is 50 cents until May 1, 1971, then 60 cents thru July, 1974. Then it increases to 75 cents.
